...a subtle reminder...
I'm sure many people had forgotten that this was the closing hymn at the National Memorial Service for 9/11. It was then, and still is, the most appropriate song in the world for the occasion.
A commenter at LGF hit on a point I made with my folks last night as we watched the convention coverage. Given the "on-point" scripting of this convention, I'm sure the subtle reminder of President Bush's moving performance at that Memorial Service was no accident...
